Coastal Warning: Hurricane Gustav

In an attempt to avert the potential hardship in the case of a repeat of hurricane Katrina, I am now putting up notice to the fair people of coastal Louisiana, Mississippi, the Florida panhandle, and Texas.
  • There is a tropical storm heading your way!
  • This storm is predicted to be a fairly strong hurricane with high wind speeds and an abundance of rain.
  • This storm is named Gustav and should be given a fair amount of RESPECT!
  • Do NOT attempt to ride this storm out! You will not be considered cool or brave.
  • LEAVE BEFORE IT MAKES LANDFALL AND BEFORE A MASS EXODUS FORCES YOU TO SIT IN THE MIDDLE OF A CLOGGED INTERSTATE.
We now return you to your scheduled programming.

OBAMA & BIDEN ARE BIRD'S OF A FEATHER...

Biden actually says this stuff and gets away with it!
August 08'
  • "first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy,"
October 07'
  • “There’s less than one percent of the population of Iowa that is African American. There is probably less than four of five percent that are minorities. What is in Washington? So look, it goes back to what you start off with, what you’re dealing with.”

July 06'

  • “You cannot go to a 7-11 or Dunkin Donuts unless you have a slight Indian Accent. Oh, I’m not joking!”
August 06'
  • “Delaware...a slave state that fought beside the North. That’s only because we couldn’t figure out how to get to the South. There were a couple of states in the way.”

What a duo these two will make...

Obama's preacher said more than a mouth full and Obama came to his defense, which has been discussed more than enough. In short, I fear that Obama is a counter-racist. The white man is the pebble in his shoe.

It should also be more than obvious that he also has quite a grudge with Hillary, not that she's innocent either. Personally I don't think he would ever consider a woman in such a high position as president, let alone, his VP... He could have tied this election up in so many way's had he picked Hillary.

Now, on to the reason for this post. Biden!

Talk about a winner...the comments he's made should be enough to cause pause for anyone. Some are calling for people to cut him some slack, but I have to wonder what the response would have been if the good Senator Biden were a republican? There seems to be no excuse for a republican. Is there a double standard. I would hazzard to say YES.

I find it odd that a good and proper, progressive, liberal minded, tolerant democrat, any democrat seeking change could ever consider Biden as a viable Vice President.

There are two issue's that Senator's Clinton, Biden and McCain seem to agree upon: Voting FOR the Iraqi War, and Obama's lack of ability to be the President of the United States of America. While they all (Obama, Clinton, McCain, Biden) are quick to denounce the Iraqi war, where were their votes against it? Which of them rallied to cut the purse strings on it? Remove the financing and the war ends. Actually the war ended when Saddam was captured. We're now on a rebuilding/restructuring mission.

It should seem that Obama's selection of Biden is little more than a way to kill the "lack of international relation's" card while tying up the white vote.

Biden on the other hand made a complete turn around in hopes of getting a higher position.

Obama and Biden are bird's of a feather...just on opposite sides of the race fence.

Next time I think I'll gripe about McCain...

It's nice to be an independent...
