Some Observations and Shameful Stuff

It's been some time since posting and thought I would put up a couple of things of interest to me.

Was talking to someone who was relaying some of the antics of a local "speed-trap" town (Elkins Arkansas).

The policeman had pulled this woman over and when she inquired for a reason, the policeman responded, "I wanted to see if you had started drinking yet." Now that's Funny!

Just a few days ago we were having temps in the 80's, and now it is below freezing and snowing...In April!

I work quite a bit with person's who happen to be Hispanic. Quite a few of them asked if I would call them Mexican...they preferred it!

There has been quite a bit of talk lately about new legislation cracking down on employer's who utilize illegal aliens. Industry reports that they will lose millions of dollars if they have to hire American citizens....That tells me that they are paying the illegals much less than they should and I think they (industry) should have to ante up money to help those same person's become legal! Sounds like nothing but exploitation of those in a less fortunate situation...SHAME ON INDUSTRY!

I found out that our mail delivery lady receives extra money when she has to deliver packages to someones house. Fair enough...but, our local USPS route person just places the packages on top of the mailbox (out there for anyone to claim) for us to retrieve...SHAME ON OUR MAILMAN LADY! Taking $$$ for a service she doesn't provide...

I had an incident the other day where I hurt my ribs. I toughed it out for a few days then finally went to the ER. They took an X-Ray and found that I had broken one rib and had some muscle tearing/strain. The doc then wrote me some prescriptions and told me to go home and rest. When the pain got worse, I called my regular doc and when they asked how I was wrapped, I said, "What wrap?" They couldn't believe the hospital did not wrap my ribs and instructed me as to how to do it myself...SHAME ON THAT HOSPITAL! Wrapping helps a lot...

The American public voted off the wrong contestant on "American Idol" last night...SHAME ON THE VOTERS! Gina didn't deserve to be removed....Shanjiya or Haley should have went home...Double Shame!

Enough for now...

To Be Right...Do Right!
