In an attempt to avert the potential hardship in the case of a repeat of hurricane Katrina, I am now putting up notice to the fair people of coastal Louisiana, Mississippi, the Florida panhandle, and Texas.
- There is a tropical storm heading your way!
- This storm is predicted to be a fairly strong hurricane with high wind speeds and an abundance of rain.
- This storm is named Gustav and should be given a fair amount of RESPECT!
- Do NOT attempt to ride this storm out! You will not be considered cool or brave.
- LEAVE BEFORE IT MAKES LANDFALL AND BEFORE A MASS EXODUS FORCES YOU TO SIT IN THE MIDDLE OF A CLOGGED INTERSTATE.
